Nowadays, many people all around the world are interested in juice diets. They take juice diets for different reasons: healthier life, body loss weight, medical treatment and others. A couple decades ago, juice diets were used for medical purpose. Many physicians bring juice diets as alternative therapy, causing juice diet to take a prominent place in many physicians’ prescriptions.

Why people are so interested in juice diets? Well.., there is a wide variety of reasons to go onto juice diets:

Juice is easier to be absorbed in your body than solid food. It is great and easy to drink a glassful of juice whenever you need it; most of the juices need approx. within 15 to 20 minutes following the last swallow to get absorbed. However, is strictly prohibited to depend solely on this type of diet for a long period of time since it may result in nutritional deficiencies.

Besides it’s advantage to get absorbed quickly, juice diets also well-known as great way for system cleansing. You should abstain from different addictive substances like alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, and others, before you initiate your juice diet. Juice diet helps you to cleanse your bodily organs like skin liver, lungs and kidneys.

When you start a juice diet, it will start detoxifying your body immediately by removing toxic and morbid substances that may result in symptoms like weakness, insomnia abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea, or weight loss. Do not panic! Those are the effects that your body is doing detoxification process and removing toxic, so it should not be suppressed by using external medication.

What Ideal Fruits and Vegetables for Juice Diet?

Many fruits and vegetables can be consumed for juice diets. However, keep in mind that not all fruits or vegetables are ideal for preparing a juice diet. Ideal ingredients for preparing a healthy juice diet should contain a high nutritional content, like apples, melons, carrots, beets, celery, cranberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, lemons, cabbage, grape, sprouts, pineapples and lettuce. Several ingredients are not usually used fpor this purpose, like apricots, bananas, potatoes, yams and cherries.

Juice diet is only good for about a three to days to one week at a time. Otherwise, it may lead to severe nutritional deficiency.

You also need to remember, when you are on this special type of diet, to enjoy the benefits of all useful enzymes and vitamins you need to drink the juice fresh. This kind of diet is also not recommended for children and pregnant women or breastfeeding mother.

To avoid any adverse effects, this diet should be administered under the strict supervision and guidance. It is also highly advisable that you should consult with your doctor, especially for you who are suffering from certain health conditions like specific nutritional deficiency, eating disorders, diabetes, and few other health conditions prior going on Juice Diet.
